Roos van Geffen studied Theatre Design at the Art School in Tilburg and at the Academy for Fine Art in Maastricht.
She is a theatre maker of intimate performances and a set and costume designer for main stage theatre in Holland and Norway. She created various autonomous works: video-installations, dance-productions and performances in the public space.
Roos van Geffens work can be characterized as intuitive, associative and versatile. She sees theatre as the best way to make genuine contact with the audience by creating emotional experiences.
