Setdesign of danceperformance “Lost&Found”, choreography by Andrea Boll by Bollwerk, on newly composed Music by Hanna Kulenty, performed live by orchestra “De Ereprijs”
“Lost&Found” is about vulnerability and indifference in a big city. A woman finds an homeless person in front of her door. The meeting is repeated again and again, but the course of action is different every time: absurd, meaningless, violent, tender, humane, but at the same time morally uninhibited and fully unashamedly . Out of a huge pile of rubbish bags the dancers emerge. The bags offer protection and grip, they form both a trench and a monkey rock, but at the same time they are dancing partner and weapon. Inspired by “The Dinosaurs and the Law” from “Thought Connections (Gedankenfuge)” by F. Dürrenmatt and by the novel “Iron Age” by J.M. Coetzee.
